The Reval Cocoon Ergo is a height-adjustable specialist bath designed for residents with complex mobility and postural support needs. Its ergonomically contoured bathing area helps support the bather in a comfortable, secure position, making it particularly suitable for high-dependency care homes, nursing facilities and healthcare environments.
With powered height adjustment, compatibility with mobile and ceiling hoists, and touchless digital controls, the Cocoon Ergo supports practical assisted bathing routines. Optional HydroSpa, AromaSpa, ColourSpa and AudioSpa systems allow facilities to tailor the bathing experience to individual preferences and care
The bath contours help support positioning and stability for people with reduced postural control during bathing.
Powered height adjustment allows carers to position the bath at a practical working height and lower it for access where appropriate.
Designed to work with a range of mobile and ceiling hoists; sling, lift and room compatibility must be assessed.
Hands-free digital controls reduce shared touch points during bathing and support infection-control routines.
The current UK range describes an autofill function and anti-scald safeguards with water-compliant thermostatic controls.
HydroSpa, AromaSpa, ColourSpa and AudioSpa options can be configured individually or in combination.
Unlike the Caprice integrated-hoist configuration, the Cocoon Ergo uses its contoured bathing shape to support the resident and is compatible with external mobile and ceiling hoists. The appropriate transfer system should be assessed for the individual resident and bathroom.
The bath can be used with compatible mobile hoists, subject to hoist clearance, sling suitability and the room layout.
Compatible ceiling-hoist arrangements can support assisted positioning without a built-in bath transfer chair.
The moulded bath contours provide a more supported bathing position; this is not the flat-bottomed Cocoon Keyhole stretcher bath.
*Figures including 160 kg, 750–1100 mm and 228 litres are from the manufacturer Cocoon R’GO / Ergo technical manual. An older UK catalogue instead lists 130 kg and 750–1100 mm. Confirm the exact UK model and currently certified patient weight with Reval before quotation or use; the current UK product listing does not specify a weight rating.
