Interested in the Arjo Primo or replacing an existing assisted bath? Send us your details and a member of the Able team will get back to you to discuss your requirements.
The Arjo Primo is a fully height-adjustable assisted bath with a straight-sided tub, designed to support comfortable bathing and efficient caregiver access in professional care environments.
Available in short and standard lengths, Primo works with compatible Arjo System 2000 transfer aids and can be specified with options including integrated disinfection, Hydromassage, Hydrosound and Sound & Vision.
Primo uses a familiar straight-sided bath profile and is available in short and standard lengths, giving care teams a more compact System 2000 option where a keyhole-shaped tub is not required.
The bath can be raised from 620 mm to 1120 mm at the tub rim, allowing carers to position the resident at a more suitable working height during the bathing routine.
As part of Arjo System 2000, Primo is designed to work with compatible hygiene chairs, bath trolleys and lifting systems so the bathing routine can be planned around fewer resident transfers.
Multiple scalding-protection functions, adjustable water temperature and automatic fill control help support a consistent bathing routine in professional care settings.
An optional integrated cleaning and disinfection system can support efficient cleaning of the bath and compatible transfer equipment between bathing sessions.
Optional Hydromassage, Hydrosound, Soaker Bath and Sound & Vision features can add relaxation and sensory elements where appropriate for the resident and care setting.
Primo is designed as part of the wider Arjo System 2000 bathing and transfer system. The appropriate transfer method should always be confirmed against the resident’s mobility, posture, existing equipment and room layout.
Arjo Alenti and compatible System 2000 hygiene chairs can be used with Primo System 20 and System 23 baths for residents who can maintain an appropriate seated position during transfer and bathing.
Miranti can support residents who need to remain in a reclined position and is compatible with the Primo System 23 bath.
Compatible lifting options include Maxi Twin, Maxi Move and Maxi Sky 2 Plus, allowing the Primo bathing plan to be matched to more dependent residents where appropriate.
System 20 and System 23 figures are shown in that order where two values are listed. Final installation requirements should be checked against the current Arjo documentation and site conditions.
Primo combines the core System 2000 assisted-bathing functions with a compact straight-sided bath format and optional cleaning, dispensing, wellness and comfort features. Availability should be confirmed when the bath is specified.
Feature availability can vary by configuration and market. Able can help confirm the appropriate Primo specification for your care setting.
Choosing the Primo is only part of the project. Able can help assess the room, existing services, access, transfer method and compatible equipment before the final bath configuration is confirmed.
We can then support delivery, installation, commissioning and handover, with servicing, repairs and breakdown support available after installation.
If you are replacing an existing Rhapsody, Primo, Harmonie or another assisted bath, send us the current make and model and we can review the replacement requirements with you.
